Title: Help Rear window wiper not working

Put in a new rear wiper motor today as it stopped working, nothing.Tested to see if there was power going to the motor and again nothing,where there was before i bought the new motor.Checked fuses and wires coming into the boot couldn't  find anything wrong. Am i missing something. Also did a scan with vcds and there was no errors apart from steering wheel.

There's a difference between driving a multimeter and a motor - reconnect the meter then watch what happens to the supply when the motor is selected - supply disappears connection problem!

For my money tailgate wiring severed within the insulation.

Is the tailgate shut properly? That stops the rear wiper working...

Thanks for the replies. Sorted found a loose wire by the connection block.
