Title: Another milestone, cars just gone over 4k. Not bad for 2 years I suppose!

4k in two years?!  Mine's done 38k in 2 years and that includes it being off the road for 5 months due to an accident (very minor, but I refused to drive it to save the mileage and did 18k miles in a courtesy car in that time  :evilgrin:) and 3 months at JKM due to fuelling issues... so actuallly done 38k miles in 1 year and 4 months  :driver:

Poor car must be feeling neglected  :wink:

I have no problem adding miles onto mine though - I've had it less than a month and have managed to add over 2,000 miles already  :smiley:

Just done 48k in mine and its 2 years old lol and have loved every mile and there will be many many more as a car is for driving not sitting there doing nothing. Get out and drive it/enjoy it

mines coming up to nearly a year old now and ive done nearly 20k. must have calmed down on the driving becuase i did the first 10k in JO 3 months!

I think you guys should be evicted from this forum, unless you have    another GTI which you drive the way it is supposed to be driven, miles and miles and miles

iv worked 4miles round trip from my house.. kinda keeps the mileage down

all you get is water warmed up....

though I used to take the car to go the grocer's a kilometer away, instead of taking tram (20 meters away from my house door) or walking. Of course, all such short trips eventually turned into much longer trips. I'd go around Zurich lake for no particular reason - that's 100km....  :happy2:

Nope no other GTI, just a diesel for work when Im not on a lift share or the occasional bicycle in (21 miles round trip!)
