Looking for springs atm for mine, saw apex ones on eBay for considerably less than any others. Prob speaks for itself, might go for the eibach sport lines or teins myself. H&r seem to get good reviews too.
-
I had APEX coilovers and can't rate them enough
-
Saw a GTI with them on and it looked LOW :happy2:
-
ordered the ones in the link anyway so will see when they are fitted, had apex springs on my fiesta st and the drop was decent compared to others and ride quality wasnt too shabby

is there a certain way the springs should go that would affect the drop?
-
I got apex ones not fitted them yet though! Look good though and they keep the same spring rate whatever hight they are as the adjustment is done in the bottom cup!
-
Looks like there's no drop there fella. How low were the springs?
-
30-40mm

does anyone know if the way the springs are will affect anything eg can they be upside down

I would have thought you can fit them upside down! The only thing I can think of is if you haven't got the spring seated in the shock properly?
Can you upload a pic mate?
-
springs defo seated properly, when i removed the old springs and put next to the new ones they looked exactly the same size in comparison
