Evenin all
Its tyre time again and I just need two. Just now I have the Goodyear Eagle F1 Assemetric 2's fitted all round, in 225/45 17 91Y. These I have found to be fantastic tyres in both wet and dry conditions and am tempted to bet them again. My only grip is that I feel the tyre wall is a little soft, so can make the car a tad wobbly, even at 36, 37 psi.
Goodyear also make this tyre in a 94Y, a stronger tyre wall. I assume to be used if you are towing or really loading the car.
So I'm wondering if this will improve the wobbly feeling from the 91Y's.
What are your views?

Can you not get an XL one..? 94 would be better than 91..
I only buy XL tyres.

That's a good price.
So how do these tyres feel with a stronger wall, is it really noticeable? Does it make a harsher ride? Etc.

The main reason for xl tyres is so you can run lower pressures in them and still have stability.. They do not create a harsh ride at all. You only get that with run flats, as the tyre walls are almost like bricks.

The XL's will be the 94Y.
