Finally managed to get revo stage one code loaded up..
It made 315 bhp with 329 lbs of torque :)

I wanted some noise! so done the forge spacer... vroom tischch.
Then i decided to start upgrading a few more parts. I started by installing the s3 intercooler.

To improve shifts i fitted the front to back and side to side short shift from forge...

Then after a few logs and settings change with the revo code to accomodate the intercooler and induction kit finally it was time to get it back on the rollers...

Really good figures considering you dont have dp or hpfp.
mine made 329bhp at the weekend with dp and hpfp running stock intake and ic so kinda the opposite mods you have.

Diffs are awesome.
Me and H8T WP will never get our cars quite that quick down the strip, unless we retrofit a dsg box lol. Wont stop us from trying though :driver:

I would definitely do a GB on a diff at the moment. As an aside what Revo settings are you running on the Cupra out of interest.

Ive discussed with AMD about doing the clutch and diff at the same time to save on labour costs, so will plan to do that.kit 1.

There were rumours that SEAT were planning a series of different kits (bodykits) but that never materialised, and was gonna name em k1, k2, k3 etc

a GB on a quaife diff sounds good to me im also up for a clutch gb aswell with mine at 22,000 miles and soon to be over 350+ guess mine will be on its way out soon.

I take it you boys are waiting forever for the Milltek's too then? :grin: My mate is waiting for his direct from Milltek for his S3. Only he was told the 19th.. :sad1: He's pulling his hair out as he has just had his Pump fitted along with the Dbilas and is desperate to get the Stage 2+ code added. Just waiting on the Milltek Cat-back, as he already has the DP sat at home waiting...
Are you boys getting any clutch problems on the Cupra's? As I know my mates gets slight slip since he got Stage 1 added, more so from the DM flywheel than actual clutch itself from what I understand. Does the Cupra have the same DM flywheel I take it? Just hope it doesn't play up even more when the Stage 2+ is added. Although the power delivery is A LOT smoother since the pump has been fitted I have to say..
Oh and one last thing, do as Hurdy says and get these Cupra's down the Pod. Be interesting to see how they fair against us Ed30 boys.. :P :signLOL:

Cant give away which downpipes and de cats we are going for but I can guarantee they are same if not better than milltek :P its definitely working out over £300 cheaper he-he
So far I have had only a small amount of clutch slip, this was in 3rd gear when flooring it round a bend with my foot slightly on the clutch so I’m not too worried about it just yet!
New clutch is on the cards soon! And the cupras do have the same DM flywheel yeah, roll on stage 3 single mass rated to 450 ft lbs!
As for 1/4mile ETs... well I’m sure at the moment I could break into the 13.4s maybe even challenge for lower.
But until I have the DIFF and done the anti lift kit (WALK) and some of the other suspension mods I don’t think i will try.
3rd gear pulls are the best for me at the moment, 30-80 in no time at all!
I am on the Santa pod database ready to challenge this years FWD times, so watch out, ill be there soon

I take it you boys are waiting forever for the Milltek's too then? :grin: My mate is waiting for his direct from Milltek for his S3. Only he was told the 19th.. :sad1: He's pulling his hair out as he has just had his Pump fitted along with the Dbilas and is desperate to get the Stage 2+ code added. Just waiting on the Milltek Cat-back, as he already has the DP sat at home waiting...
Are you boys getting any clutch problems on the Cupra's? As I know my mates gets slight slip since he got Stage 1 added, more so from the DM flywheel than actual clutch itself from what I understand. Does the Cupra have the same DM flywheel I take it? Just hope it doesn't play up even more when the Stage 2+ is added. Although the power delivery is A LOT smoother since the pump has been fitted I have to say..
Oh and one last thing, do as Hurdy says and get these Cupra's down the Pod. Be interesting to see how they fair against us Ed30 boys.. :P :signLOL:

Cant give away which downpipes and de cats we are going for but I can guarantee they are same if not better than milltek :P its definitely working out over £300 cheaper he-he
So far I have had only a small amount of clutch slip, this was in 3rd gear when flooring it round a bend with my foot slightly on the clutch so I’m not too worried about it just yet!
New clutch is on the cards soon! And the cupras do have the same DM flywheel yeah, roll on stage 3 single mass rated to 450 ft lbs!
As for 1/4mile ETs... well I’m sure at the moment I could break into the 13.4s maybe even challenge for lower.
But until I have the DIFF and done the anti lift kit (WALK) and some of the other suspension mods I don’t think i will try.
3rd gear pulls are the best for me at the moment, 30-80 in no time at all!
I am on the Santa pod database ready to challenge this years FWD times, so watch out, ill be there soon
Have you ran before than bud? When you say Santa Pod website, do you mean the Castrol Challenge? Will certainly keep an eye out for ya next year, may even line up next to you, ya never know... :party: :grin: As for Diffs and W.A.L.K kits... Pah, standard suspension all the way.. :signLOL: That's only because i'm not aloud to go for uprated though.. :ashamed:
Know what you mean about rolling starts though bud, they are the way forward. You should try the 30-130mph day that MLR do next year. I had a right blast last year.. Even if I did feel like I had brought a knife to a gun fight.. :scared: :grin:

No Millies for us. Everyone has milltek so we decided to go a different route, plus the milly is rather pricey.
I think wayne mention his clutch slipping, but mine seems to be ok so far, but I have covered less mileage than him.
Now that your mate has the pump he can get the stage 2 plus software loaded to take advantage of the pump!
Im hoping to get down the pod on the 31st of this month. Last time I went the car was still standard.

Once you get Full TBE you will love the way it spools up at just under 2k and will keep going all the way to the limiter. Mid range poke is awesome.

Update Three 22/10/09- Stage 2 revo map and 3" Downpipe
Right, back from mine and Poverty’s little AMD makeover.
I had a 3†Blueflame downpipe and 100 cell sports cat fitted as well as revo stage 2 loaded on
I DON’T have the fuel pump yet so stage 2 was what I had to go for.
The results were not too much more than what I was running on stage one but I did have a sort of stage 1+ going on due to more boost over a normal stage 1 code…
To round everything off, the car pulled 360 BHP and 360 Torque with 320 at the wheels.
I have a HUGE flat spot from 3.5k to 4.5 k though as evident on my graph which I will post here soon, the fuel pump should sort this I hope.

a totally different sound.. no longer do we have the nice sounding whooosh noise caused by a large restriction and backpressure, it now sounds like a grunting car ...

after speaking to revo it seems the new pump wont be a good alternative to an APR or modded standard pump :(

REVO's car is fully loaded up with stage 2+ mate they have a bigger intercooler too. thats about the only difference (fuel pump aswell of course)

bahh, stick with s3 oem.. you will get a bit more lag with the twin cooler!
S3 cooler will help a little over stock but not by much, as its still wedged behind the radiator and the end tanks are no larger than stock. If you were replacing the OEM with say a THS one the gains would be much better. I think with the Forge cooler i will see a good increase in torque.
Looking at the graphs mine seems to be making way more power lower down but you hold onto more torque for longer. Different tuners definitely give the car different characteristics, its plain to see.

they didnt do his car again no :( because it was already run on dyno a week before plus it was like 50 quid extra for that :(

Plugs went ok, car still struggling on startup but it does seem to have improved things. Sadly all my revo settings have been wiped and are now at 0 because I disconnected the battery. Think im gonna avoid driving it for a while, and get my brakes and revo setup done together and pay for a indie to do some fault finding for me as im really getting fed up with the intermittent problems.

WOT box allows full throttle shifting (without taking your foot off the gas pedal) so it keeps the boost level up !

it can also do a 2step launch control which is cool

Been a while since I posted so just to say the car now has an autotech fuel pump and revo stage 2+ its running ok at the moment. (besides dip in fuel rail pressure causing a slight flat spot)
I bought some new discs, OEM pads and HEL brake lines ready to go on soon which will be in another update that I will post once done.

been AGES since i posted some updates, the car is runnin ok at the mo and has better stopping power with OEM pads and new discs..

They are 345mm so no not really
I have only ever got brake fade once in this car, 5 man up, on a 15 min kicking, with track day tyres on the front, Got both the front and rear discs glowing bright red
