Hey guys, the below picture shows you what im talking about. Now i know it s a breather hose but im not sure why its there and if i need it.
I have been through a few intake and ripped this little pipe out ages ago as it was attached the standard air box and seem to hang down where the fog light is but doesn't attach to anything.
Some people attach a little K&N or APR filter, what does it do and do I need it?
Thanks

Mine has the same. Connected to the airbox and just hangs down behind the fog light. I came to the conclusion it is a breather/drain incase there is any significant moisture build up.

So if you have a after market intake its not needed as its not in concealed box? - Then why do people add their own filter - weird?

I fitted my CAI this morning and stripped out the OEM intake but I've not got anything like that in the engine bay... Weird :surprised:

Its a drain. Funny how people fit a filter on the end. Never seen that before! :signLOL:
