Title: Boot release switch
Post by: bbfb10 on January 14, 2014, 07:58:40 am: Just been looking on eBay and seen a chrome boot release switch to open the boot from within the car, is this possible to retro fit to a mk5? Has anyone done this mod?

Post by: SI-R32 on January 14, 2014, 10:12:33 am: Annoyingly that switch wasn't about when i did the mod, I had to buy single switches as well as the double one and swap the levers for the chrome tips.

Post by: SI-R32 on January 14, 2014, 11:20:33 am: Just looking at that eBay ad for the switch, really like the switch holder in the speaker trim from the CC (pic 2), if anyone would rather use this (you will still have to cut it out of the grilled trim) then the part number is 3C1868158A 9B9 for satin black trim (they don't have anthracite)
