Our ED30 come with the Rcd500 ipod connection & 10 speakers
So i fitted a new double din pioneer AVH-X2500BT head unit, ( cd , bluetooth , ipod, internet, nav etc) £238 delivered
Best thing is having internet radio flaix fm from ibiza playing
I also installed an underseat sub KCS-SW11 (perfect fit under the mkv passenger seat) £108 delivered
The whole thing works well together, solid sound . Plenty of bass. I was very suprised at the results
About 1 1/2 hour to fit
Cheap upgrade, will post some pics up tomorrow

The underseat sub fits under the passenger seat perfectly does not stick out its very snug. It has its own control unit for bass cut off , in phase or reverse phase, volume the control unit lights up neon blue.
To wire it in is simple, it just needs a 7 amp power feed from the incar fusebox. You can feed it with rca input or high level speaker inputs ( it just hooks on to your normal speakers). Remote turn on ( from blue wire on head unit or ignition switched)
It has its own built in amp and gives a good sound for what it is and does not take up much room.
Would make a goo addition to the standard head unit
Once its set up you leave it.

That looks very tidy mate. I do like the idea of having a sub under the seat. Need abit more bass from my rns-510.
Any pictures in the light would be great :happy2:

Fits nice and snug under the seat

Looks great, love the fact that it is hidden under the seat. Do you no if this would be hard to fit to the rns-510?

You can hook it up to any system as it just takes speaker level inputs , you just tap into the rear speaker feeds. The rear speakers will still work ok as well.

Nice work.
I really like these head units, just done an audio build on mine with the same headunit, with a custom stealth sub in the boot
If you haven't already I would sound deaden the doors.
