Title: How much induction/turbo noise with induction kit?

How much induction noise should I be gettting, I have the k&n typhoon and Mine sucks like a whore! Really quite loud!
And wissles on full throttle at higher revs! I'm just concerned as I have nothing to compare it to!

My dv was replaced by last owner only 5 months ago so I don't think it's split! I'm pretty sure it's the latest dv rev...


But I mean how much is normal when a induction pipe is fitted?

All your noises sound normal for a car with an induction system.

Se times sounds like the dv is open a little longer than it should on low revs

I have a twintake and soon as turbo is in it makes all types off noises but sound sweet. Gets chatter on lower revs

Evoms here, much louder compared to OEM... I don't get the whistling though, just whoosh and put'ish.

Evoms. For me too but it's quite is, it was a lot louder before I changed my dv
