Title: Compatability of RCD510's

Folks, I'm fairly clued up on RNS's but know nothing about RCD's so bear with me.

Basically can anyone tell me if a DAB version of the RCD will work in a car that came with the non DAB version? Or are the aerials different?

Will the DAB unit still pick up FM or is it not that straight forward?

I've to put a non DAB unit in a 2010 Mk6 which will be 100%, but I've then to transfer a 2011 DAB unit into a 2010 Tiguan that just has the non DAB unit. I'm not worried if the DAB won't work, but will it still pick up anaologue?

For the Dab to work you will need a extra Dab aerial
Dab units have two aerial ports.
but the standard Tiguan aerial will let you get Fm anaologue mate

+1, will definitely work as I ran one in my GTI with just the standard FM/AM aerial  :happy2:
