Title: ETKA Part Number Help !

Guys,
Can anyone tell me the part number for the Passenger Side Wing Mirror Unit (Whole thing) for the 2007 MK5 Golf GT
And if the Same Mirror assembly is used on the Golf Estate of the same year? :drinking:

I have been offered a cheap mirror to replace the one I crushed on the car last weekend....wanna check its 100% ok :rolleye:

Are they folding with puddle lights and memory function or just standard?

Excellent, thanks dude..... :happy2:   They are bog standard heated electrically operated (glass movement / angle) :drinking:

As far as I can tell without your original mirror number and it's not folding or puddle lights!

I'm assuming your original was the Car number below then that would be the matching estate number.


For 2007 MKV CAR with electric adjustment and heated Satin Black- 1K2 857 507 BK 9B9 - £129.30

For 2007 MKV ESTATE with electric adjustment and heated - 1K2 857 507 BP 9B9 - £129.30

Both use these items as common parts

              1K0 857 537 GRU mirror cap In primer - £31.48

              3C0 857 521 C  mirror glass aspherical wide angle c/w plate £52.76

Full retail inc vat

Golf (Hatch) 06/2006 onwards.
RHD, NS, electric adjustment and heated - 1K2 857 507 BK 9B9 £128.02 with VAT

RHD, NS, electric adjustment, heated and memory function - 1K2 857 507 BM 9B9 £128.02 with VAT

RHD, NS, electric adjustment, heated, memory function, fold in and puddle light - 1K2 857 507 BA 9B9 £225.02 with VAT

The mirror cap is not part of the above.

NS Primed – 1K0 857 537 GRU £31.16 with VAT
NS Satin Black - 1K0 857 537 A 9B9 £25.72 with VAT

As is the glass.

NS Ashperical wide angle - 3C0 857 521 £52.24 with VAT
NS Convex - 3C0 857 521 B - £44.12 with VAT
NS Ashperical wide angle with auto anti dazzle - 3C0 857 521 F - £177.66

Awesome...so if I have read that right...they are almost / if not...identical parts???

And interchangeable?

Not genuine I'd say. Manufacturer is stated as "Quality Replacement Parts".

Oh no....it looks like the letters in the middle BK/ BM are important,.....the Estate version wing mirror unit did not fit :ashamed: :stupid:
The black triangle where it meets the door is a different shape on my 3 Door GT :fighting:

Wondering now if the 5 door and the 3 door are different?

Jeeeez how to make life hard ! :sad1:
