Title: ED30 misfire cylinder 3 after fitting my Autotech HPFP running stage 2+ Any help
Post by: I-remap.com on January 16, 2014, 10:35:57 pm
So just been out in my edition 30 running sweet when I left on the way home put my foot down to around 5000rpm and I felt this misfire... From then on its there... Got home plugged VCDS in and coming up with the following

000768
P0300 - random/multiple cylinder misfire detected

000770 - cylinder 2
P0302 - misfire detected

Anyone think this could be coilpacks? What is the sketch with rs4 Coil packs?

Any suggestions would be a great help!

Extra power from the pump has killed the plug or coilpack.

Cheers guys I've just bought some genuine latest revision spark plugs from TPS liverpool, was going to swap coil sticks from say 2 to 3 to see if it the fault comes back on different cylinder.

Best place to get coilpacks anyone?

Thanks again!

Don't want to unnecessarily worry you but when fuel leaks past the HPFP and enters the crankcase, that can cause misfires.
Did you fit the internals to a new pump?

Fitted plugs and coil packs there's no codes but on live data on VCDS it keeps coming up with misfire counter cylinder 1 and 3

Any suggestions?

Have you checked your oil level lately? Does the oil smell of fuel?
