Morning all. Have decided to get a pressure washer as I need to clean patio but also want to start and use it on the car now the grit and rubbish is on the roads. Looking to get a snow foam lance too as heard good things about them. I am informed that nilfisk is the one to go for. Just wondered if anyone has a good model to aim for (not spending the earth) and a discount code maybe.

Cool. Is the foam sprayer that's included a snow foam lance or is that something I need to buy separately

Cleanstore is the place to get the cheap versions
Depends on your budget and mentality to buying stuff , i don't like to buy twice and bought a Karcher HD 6/13 C PLUS which was £430 , has variable pressure which is the reason i bought it and the fact it is made to run and run all day every day
I have had three cheap washers due to my son using them more than me , they are all broken and i would always advise buying the best quality and always buy a better one than you actually need :innocent:

Found this one from homebase. Seems quite good. Hard to tell the difference between the one detailed above and this one. Any one able to comment

And is a former bottle the same as a snow foam lance thingy

The homebase one seems good but I'd just go for the cleanstore one. I've had one for two years from them now. It gets used twice a week at least and has never let me down :).
The foam bottle can be used for snow foam and I actually use it myself for that. Although it's not great it does the job. You can always pick up a better lance for around £40 if you're not keen on it once you have tried it.

I like Garrard ,don't like buying twice I have had two Karchers die on me !,
Purchased a Kranzle 1152 TS T and Kranzle snow lance washed three cars with it this morning it has variable pressure and weighs in at 32kg it is so solid and well made but was expensive at £599 ( cheap for a Kranzle bought using a 15% discount code )
By a Professional version as I was told all K version Karchers will fail if used to often

I've got a Krapper Karcher and it's been flawless in 5 years plus... I tell a lie, a seal split which cost 10p to replace...
I wouldn't advise using their Snow Foam lances though, been there, and the CYC Snow Foam Lance is way better, giving a lot thicker coverage. :happy2:

I have one the same ( or very similar can't remember the model exactly) and been great. Did manage to split a hose but cheap fix, plus with those new reels even better. I also bought a proper snow foam lance which I feel is well worth the cash. Helps get rid of grit and road dirt - plus it's great fun
