Thats interesting about the Ed30 being a different filter than the standard GTI as I've just put in a spare Green cotton filter that I had for my Leon TFSI (same engine as GTI) in my ED30. The p/n is P960137 and this is the same for the GTI, Ed30, FR, and Cupra.
It will do until I get the conversion piece for my Dbilas on the car!!!

I'm pretty sure the K&N part numbers are the same too....

all the aftermarket filter part no's are the same for the tfsi applications, just the OE 1's that are different

Ah, nice one Gaz :happy2:
-
apparantly all the engine covers are the same, so the filters must be
-
can't remember the part no but i got one for my ed30 from a trade parts specialist as thats where the local dealer got them from. Looked exactly the same as the old filter to
me.

From elsewhere.
The BWA filter ends in an A whereas the BYD ends in a B and is thinner. Not by much mind but the numeric part of the number is the same.
