I'm going to look at a car this week but just wanting to price some things up
This will start you all off but who should I get the car remapped with?
And instead off just a remap and stage 1 I would prefer to go stage 2,does this only consist off a decat and filter?
Is the clutch going to hold out ..I would rather do it in one go so I'm not having to go back and pay again just because I've added a decat..
Also I want heated seats what's best way about going with this.get the heating elements and fit them or is it gonna be cheaper buying some already done?
One last thing I want is xenon headlights but won't that cost about a grand if there done right?
Cheers in advance

R-tech are popular for remaps if you're not going near other brands. And lots of people rate r-tech better than revo/apr depending what you're after.
Stage 2 hardware that you need is a downpipe and a filter iirc
Xenons, looking at about £600 if you don't have the auto levelers and washers. Which you dont need for it to pass an MOT

I'm based In Worksop near sheffield..I think I've read a lot off good things with them..
Iirc?
What good down pipe and filter are they? Not on a budget but haven't got loads lol
And bloody hell just for some lights :( I really wnated then aswell and heated seats
Thanks for the input

It would be sensible to buy a golf with heated seats and xenons from the start to be honest, there is lots out there so just have a good look around.

^^^ This also.
Best to get the right base car first. If you have budget at present for modifying, put some of that towards the right car.
Can also save up for mods later, be cheaper to buy a car with the Xeons/Heated seats as standard in the first place.
Good luck :happy2:

Also i think Eddie NL can supply & fit xenons...pm him mate
-
Didn't know Eddie NL did Xenons , If you are thinking of modding you should go for an Edition 30 :innocent:
-
Think he told me last time I visited him that he retrofitted xenons
-

Sorry for the slow response on this
"If i recall correctly"
Ive go a forge twintake and a bcs turboback. not the cheapest. but you get what you pay for really. But i agree that its easier to find a car with more on in the first place. Sometimes easier said than done if your after something very specific!
