Nothing wrong with my Edition 30 .... but getting itchy feet after 18 months of ownership .... max £25K but could stretch to 28K if I really liked something
Dabbled with the idea of a VXR8 but can't find one at the right price near me - and the Vauxhall dealer nearest me doesn't seem interested!
Choices left :
1. Keep the Edition 30 and get a TBE / go to Stage 2
2. S3 with DSG in white (ex demo ... and then Revo it)
3. Focus RS in white in a few months when a few more are about and the silly prices have gone away ... with a view to remapping via Bluefin
4. Z4M Roadster (I've come from 6 years of convertibles to the Ed 30 so am used to the limitations space wise, etc).
Views welcome ....

Keep it!
-
if your dead set on selling i would rather have a s3 than a focus rs but for 25k you could also have a bmw 335i and a tuned one carnt half shift.
-
I've been sniffing around Caymans S's today - I don't care if people do think they're a poor man's 911, drive one!
-
Remap and turbo boost!
-
maybe S3 or hang on for the Golf R or Rocco, i went and had a look at the RS just to see what the fuss is about and it doesnt feel faster as standard as its quite heavy and the sales man said i should expect at-least a 4 month wait as the allocations have all gone and used models are fetching 29k not sure how true it is as i havent bothered researching but he also told me they are only making 2k for britain and a new shape focus is out next year! it was almost like he was trying to put me off! i met a white one on the road and did think it looked good but when walking around the blue one i was thinking this is gareish! as for vauxhalls! although i know thats really an aussie car but imo stick with something trustworthy like a vag
-
keep it, Ed30s and Pirellis are such greta all rounders :happy2:
-
RS4
-
Porsche - Any S badged one....
Cayman S is really good, given one when mine was in for service and the current price is too good to ignore.
Still going to be a VAG at the end of the day :signLOL:

RS4  .... but about £35K upwards for lower mileage ones :(

And still slower than a mapped ED30 :happy2:

getting a s3 will be like a step sideways, not forwards over the ed30.

Actually, "poor man's 911" is what's about Boxter.
Would be silly to say something like that about CaymanS (even though it is remodelled boxter).

:happy2: Good call, it rains on average for 191 days a year in Britain, so that's over half of them!
That said, and despite owning an S3, if I were you I'd buy a Porker.

I know that, you know that - but some idiots still think whatever they read is gospel.
Might get an extended test drive for a weekend soon...
