Recently my windows have been misted up on the inside when Iv gone to the car. I don't drive it all week and Iv looked everywhere for damp and can't find a thing. Anyone know where I should be looking? Windscreen is always the worst!

Mine has started to do this a little now. Coincidently the pressure switch for the air con failed last month as I got the darth vader noise. Have not changed it over as yet. Don't know if they are linked

Mine was like this when I bought it and obviously was a recurring problem as there was a manky old rag in the drivers door pocket used for wiping the screen. All it took was a bloody good clean - get some Fast Glass or equivalent on it. Not had a problem since. Although if yours is really bad maybe something else is wrong?

I know it's had a windscreen replacement so I'm unsure if that has anything to do with it. Will try giving the windows a good clean and give it a power wash to try and replicate a leak.

could just be condensation a couple of my cars are really bad for this, so I tried these silca dehumidifier bags and it seems to work really well

Mine suffers as well but not all the time weirdly
But if there is a fix I'd quite like to know

Start by checking the pollen filter then if that's ok and nothing obvious to your eyes else where as mentioned above then have the vehicle scanned with VCDS to check and test the 1K0907659 Quality Sensor.
AQS detects polluted air and automatically puts the climatronic on to recycle mode to stop the polluted air entering the cabin and maintaining passenger comfort. Once the air cleans up it reverts back to external air which cause that fault.
Finally, leaving the window open "slightly" for a few minutes greatly assist if you've got carpet mats which are damp!

First I would check the pollen filter and put a new one in. Then give the glass a good clean, if it's still bad then there is a possibility it's the seal on the windscreen which is quite common on mk5 golf's. Without going into a long and boring explanation on how and why this happens it does. If auto glass fitted it then you have a lifetime warranty.

Had terrible bother with misting up windows when I bought the car for around a week & noticed a post on here saying before you shut off the engine have the air blower open at feet not windscreen. Haven't had a bit of bother since I started doing that :)

I know the thread is old but just for people using the search...
My screen was fogging up very badly so I put washing up liquid on a microfiber towel and applied it to the inside of each window. Left it for a few minutes to dry up slightly and then remove with another microfiber cloth.
This leaves a hydrophobic layer on the screen so the condensation (gaseous water droplets) can't actually adhere to it.
It usually lasts about 4 months before you need to reapply.
I also picked up about 100 packs of silica gel from eBat shipped from Hong Kong for a few pound and dotted these around the place for a few days before removing. Not sure how effective this was though.
