Title: Just had a 500 Euro bill for minor service + dsg service @ 40,000 miles??

As you may know me and the Golf are in sunny Spain, so book it in for the DSG + minor service as it had new oil,filter about less than 3000 miles ago, and they want just over 500 Euros which is around £450, what I think is a bit much.....what's the UK price for this?? I couldn't see online on the VW site....cheers in advance..

Think I paid about £400 for a service plus dsg at 80k last year. Was a massive rip off but I had to do it to keep up the VW fsh  :scared:

Minor service £149 and DSG £179.

That's about the going rate...best to do it yourself with a dsg service kit:

Cheers chaps, I don't feel soo bad, but now they are giving it a full geometry check and alignment for 110 and installing my cruise stalk for 70, so its much more.....I thought living abroad was supposed to be cheap!!!
