Title: 12 v power not working, help as I can't use my satnav

Plugged the sat nav in today and the light came on then went off again (I think)
Now the socket doesn't power anything I plug in. The devices charge in another car, the socket lights up and I've taken a look at the fuses and I can't see a blown on, fuse 24 I think.

Does anyone have any ideas please, sounds minor but it's quite annoying as now I can't charge my satnav or phone in the car

Some 05s and earlier had fuse 28 as front power acc.
Have you tried a new fuse in 24?
Does the rear power socket in the boot work?

Post by: m4t_lee on February 15, 2014, 11:08:18 pm: Hi all, sorry for the late reply I've only just seen your replies. I've just tested and the one in the boot doesn't work either. There's a 15 amp fuse in 42 which looks ok and I've swapped for the one in 41 and still no joy. It's an 06 and doesn't have a rear 12v just front and boot. Any other suggestions chaps?

Post by: m4t_lee on February 15, 2014, 11:32:42 pm: Aaaah sussed it. Mine is an 06 and fuse 28 had blown which is a 20amp. All good now. many thanks for your help and taking the time to post :-) :-)
