Title: QA moment: how much does 18" Monza II weigh?
Post by: Peskarik on September 26, 2009, 08:55:08 pm
Q: weight of 18x7.5 clean Monza II alloy
A: 12.2kg on first weighting, 12.1kg on three consecutive weightings.

Equipment used: electronic bathroom scales

So, given Alleggerita's 8.035kg, a weight saving of a tad over 4kg per wheel.

For those who do not know already, on the back of Monza it's written BBS RD 305.

Thank you for your attention.  :star:

....

Just out of interest I'll be able to weigh my Monza 18" without a tyre next week and will post the info here.

The Monza 17" weighs 11.16kg on professionally calibrated digital scales - The same scales which agreed with OZ's Alleggerita's weight of 8.03kg.
