Right I am faced with the common problem of replacing both of my front wings due to rust
Tried going down the VW good will route but the still want over 400 + vat to spray and fit new front wings only which without blending then leaves a very possible colour match problem on a Tornado red car.
I am having my front bumper resprayed so was thinking about replacing both wings at the same time.
So what are my options,
- Buy new Genuine wings (Around £120 each)
- Buy insurance approved patterned wing around (around £80 each but not really liking that option)
- Buy extended fibreglass wings (no idea on price or where can supply them)
- or go all out and buy some Siebon carbon one and face the dilemma of to spray them or not.
Any other input would be helpful

was faced with the same situation and I bought genuine wings as they fit better

If you want wider wings I have seen a few people using these... http://srs-tec.de/cars/VW/Golf-V/Wide-Fenders-GT-VW-Golf-V::238.html?XTCsid=a743a39c719cd8a6473362b73f3c54ae

I've got two genuine front wings for sale in black, what colour is your car?

If it helps.
Si @ StillStatic quoted me £480 shipped for flachwerks +25mm wings.
Did say they needed prepping to fit and reccomended a proffesional does it.
Also wondering what to do with my arches.
Can get pre painted insurance ones of eBay for £125 a side

Thanks for the reply's guy, Really like the idea of SRS-tec ones,

I had this issue too, I just had my rusty arches repaired along with being rolled and flared slightly at the same time and painted again.
