Title: Traction???

After I had a remap and dv changed and new front tyres I have been experiencing what feels like I'm wheels spinning, in the lower gears it occasionally spins and the traction control light comes on but in gears 4,5 and 6 it doesn't come on but feels a lot worse just by putting my foot down, could there be an explanation other than a lot of power on cold damp roads?

Feels/sounds like the wheels are spinning in 4th 5thand 6th? Could be clutch slip

no t/c light in 4/5/6 but feels like its spinning? yep ur toastin ur clutch lol

Well it ain't going to get any better unless you take the map off I'm afraid. Is it a ko3 or ko4? Not that it matters as obv same clutch, just surprised if a mapped ko3 would be slipping unless high mileage ect. Pm vrsAlex at aks tuning as I believe he's the man to get you a good clutch kit :happy2:

I bet the new map has lots of torque low down. What map have you got installed as it might be an idea to get a lower torque map installed.
