I fitted a set of AP coilovers about 9 months ago. They were second hand with about 8n months on them already. When driving over speed bumps or bumpy road surfaces there a squeak coming from the rear shocks. Will they need replacing? or other components? If so do AP sell the rear shocks separately or are they no different than standard shocks?

Have you checked your rear top mounts?

What should I be looking for? Ive just read a thread that mentions whiteline arbs have a common problem with the bushes. Thats what I have fitted. It only really started after Christmas so not sure if the cold has caused it. The roll bar links are new last year.

Hi mate, I had a squeak from the rear of mine. Thought was the AP shocks at first (I got mine new from DPM Performance, £105 pair delivered).
When I changed wheels it went. Turned out to be the spacers on the rear.
Do you have any spacers? Try getting some spray grease and spray different parts and then going for a drive to eliminate the noise.

No. I have'nt got spacers but it could probably do with a spray. Cheers for giving me the heads up though as I dont want to fork out for new shocks for no reason. I'l get under neath it this weekend and check.
