Hey Pummy,

Hello and welcome. I was asking CupraK1 (H8T WP?) about you last week.

Carr20vt here from SCN. Good crowd here on mk5.

What remap you go for? Any other hardware worth mentioning?

Hey CarrG.

Std car, on 18k and now 2 years old. Revo Stg1 only.  Wanting a DP and lightweight wheels really.  Panel filter next month and maybe some airbox mods.  Funds are somewhat sparse so am leaning towards upgrading when parts need doing.  You down at Ace tomorrow?

Ah ok best way to go.

DP was prob my best mod after the map. Keep wanting to buy pro 1.2s but have enough sets of wheels!

Ace? No whats that?

i hope so.. two genuine cupra owners, who attend a few SCN meets including the rolling road day, sent countless 1,000 + character appology emails yet still no response.

DEAR SEATcupra.net...

We are not rebels to the community, just honest, hard working family men with a passion for cars

CupraK1?  You are having a bubble mate  :signLOL: Not Married, No Kids, No Mortgage.  Man I wish I was in my 20's.

LOL... still well, i am hard working..  will have kids in a few years.... as well as marriage :)

Who needs a mortage.. i already have one on my car LMFAO joke...

Mid 20's is better than being over 30 hehe

I tell you now.  Being married and having kids makes a severe drain on fun activity funds.  Mods for me are a long term planning exercise over months :sad1:

LOL @ CupraK1.  :congrats:

I know the feeling Pummy have 2 & 4 yr old girls! Have a good spec car but no time to enjoy.
Full weekends of detailing are long gone, can't even wash the thing in peace. Ah bless the "little helpers"!

Mate it sucks.  90% of my money goes on mortgage, childcare, bills, petrol, shopping etc.  I remember the days of being able to go out and not worry about spending a weekend with the car in parts, changing / cleaning / replacing bits and enjoy it.  Nowadays I get precious time to do that.  I would not change it though.  Something only a parent will really understand.

Just checking up on the BSH group buy fella.   Nice of you to care though.

I very rarely get upset about anything and this doesn't even come close.  Find it amusing that abusive ex-members feel the need to cry about how they have been hard done by on other forums.  It doesn't show you in the best light, but by all means carry on don't let me stop you I like a good laugh.

dont let you stop us doing what exactly?

We were un fairly treated and i personally waited  6 months plus  and sent countless emails which in turn were ignored... i thought we would atleast have a "fair trial" ...

We are not silly little thugs, we are adults with £22k + cars and enthusiasts, i myself had over 1,000 posts and put a lot of effort into helping people on scn, its a shame we were over looked despite around 25 still valued members contact me and express their opinion over the situation

Except ;)  You only perceive yourself to be treated unfairly, when in fact you just got treated the same way any other people do who are abusive.

Car owners are very welcome, abusive car owner not so much.

My apologies to the the mods, I shall say no more.  But defamation of character required a response.  :)

Everyone has been abusive once in their life... Surely an appropriate apology which I duly gave and tried to give for the next 4 months counts for something. I am on about 5 or 6 other car forums including here and have certainly not been "abusive"... as I said in this post http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=7873.msg122171#msg122171 we are mature car enthusiasts.

So I may well be back on here with a Mk5 in the near future.  Looking for buying guides now really and going the devils fuel route instead since this will be for the missus.  170 GT 2.0 TDI is what I am looking at.  If you have any useful links that would save me time or you found useful, post them up please :)

I will get some pics up tonight if I have not died from laughing at the inbetweeners.  The Eddy is driven gently most days by the missus in rush hour traffic.  It only gets revved past 3k when I get into it to clean out the pipes.
