Title: Brake pads - size?

I've done a search on the forum, but cant find an answer on what size the standard front pads are on a 2005 Golf GTI - all the online suppliers seem to bring up a choice. Plenty of threads confirming 312mm front discs and 286mm rear discs, but nothing on which pads go with them.

These are the 3 sizes listed on GSF for example. Much appreciated if anyone could confirm which I need!

Not sure what size they are but I got front pads last week from TPS and the part number was: "S5K 069 815 1"

Hope it helps you out but best check your chassis number when ordering to make sure you get the right parts for your model year.

edit: if it helps i can measure the pads for you tonight?

The pads are an irregular shape so difficult to measure exactly, but I think they are closest to:

Height [mm]        66
Length [mm]       155.2
Thickness [mm]    20.3
