I had a suspension knock, so in order I replaced subframe bolts for the passat ones, then drop links, then arb bushes... it seemed to cure some of the noises... however, there's still a knock and as the title suggests the car pulls right on throttle and left off throttle.
So then, what we thinking, Track rod ends? Is it an easy DIY?
:happy2:

Rear bushes on the front wishbone(s) at a guess. Probably easier to replace the whole wishbone (comes with new bushes etc.) instead of pressing bushes in and out.
-
Cheers mate, I replaced the nearside wishbone (complete with bushes, as you say way easier, if you haven't got a press) about a year ago... perhaps the offside is foobar now... meh.

It would be worth checking the guide joints - 1K0 407 366 C - £33.84 full retail inc vat
I have seen these cause the drifting but not the knocking.
-
Cheers mate... I don't feel any ball joint problems when I rock the wheels whilst it's jacked though..?

Had a car the other day with this issue. Changed the consoles for the SALK as they were cracked anyway. Issue was still there and it was the wishbone front bush that was shot. Car was perfect after that.

Probably your left wishbone too so look there first.

I responded to this... posts gone bye bye.
Anyway, basically said thanks for the responses... kinda hope it's not the nearside wishy, did it last year... meh.

Hopefully you read my post about replacing both sides and both front and rear bushes in one go.. :innocent:
