Title: Tom Tom help needed

Updated my Tom Tom this afternoon, which is probably only the second time I've done it in about 2 or 3 years of ownership.  I now can't search addresses by postcode - I type in the first half of the postcode and it comes up with the general area, but when I type in the second half of the postcode it doesn't change or recognise the road.  I then have to select the general area from the first half of the postcode and scroll down an alphabetical list of roads within that general area.  It also has European postcodes listed but didn't before.

I can't find anywhere on the unit or on my computer to change the settings so that it recognises full UK postcodes.  Any ideas? It's a Tom Tom Go 510.

Thanks Stealth, will look into it when I have a bit more time.  Was hoping it was going to be a simple fix that I could change on my unit!

All sorted, the man of the house fixed it :grin:

Turns out I'd downloaded the update but not installed it?!  I don't really understand how but I now have postcodes back :happy2:

I'll leave it up to Gary next time LOL. :ashamed:
