Title: mk5 edition 30 front drop link help
Post by: stuartm on February 08, 2014, 09:36:15 am
Have lowered my car but not buy a serious amount and my anti roll bar hits of the lower arm . Running a standard anti roll bar just now with supposedly short fk anti roll bar links but it still hits . Anyway I can get around this ?

I have the exact same problem but I'm using standard drop links. I haven't noticed any difference and they don't seem to be causing any problems/damage. My shortened FK ones were fine though but they only lasted 6 months before the bushes split on them and they seized up.

Most people with air ride have the ARB removed IIRC.  I'm thinking of actually cutting an inch out of my droplinks and welding them back together. Even though it's not causing a problem it's still in the back of my head lol.

Hmm might just take mine out then . I have seen some adjustable ones on ebay but no doubt they wont last 2 months before they start knocking !
