Title: Canbus question

I've been noticing recently that i'm starting to have battery drain issues since replacing my rcd300 with an rcd310. I thought when i changed the 310, using the canbus out of the same car would work. Clearly not!

On the following website, it states that canbus 1K907530S and 1K907530AA or above is suitable.

I've seen a few canbus' on ebay, but their product number seem to have a different code at the start. 7N0907530AK.

So my question is, will 7N0907530AK work with a rcd310 in a 2004 GTI? And if i decide to change to a RCD510 will it work?

so what gateway do you have now?

it should be 1K907530 but not 100% on the final letter. think its about K? My old one was E
