Hi all, I'm new to the forum after finally getting a golf on Tuesday!

Below the drivers side B pillar there is this button, what is it?

If you press this before getting out (and subsequently locking) the car, it disables the interior ultrasonic alarm sensors, which is useful if you wish to leave a window slightly open, or an animal etc in the car.

I use this for servicing so the alarm don't go off
