Title: Do vw paint what you want?

Some c**k in a passat has just went flying around a corner and then I seen a black thing come flying across and then bang! luckily it's has hit that plastic part under the headlight and not the bumper but it's got 2 big chips in. I think I read on here that you can buy ones already painted in black and one more colour? Also what is that plastic part called under the head light that's pressed into the bumper?

Will vw paint it if I ask them? My cars candy white

Anyone know the name of the part? I remember seeing a thread about it not long ago but I can't remember what it was called can't find it when I search either.

Are you talking about the trim strips, which may be for headlight washers or just blanks (item 7 on the attached)?

Yes that's the one, just thought if I could buy one painted it'd be easy that sorting my existing one. Cheers
