As some of you are aware my car was in a accident and i decided to buy it back from the insurance to get it fixed myself.
Now the problem is when i turn left at a little speed or a hard left turn. I can hear a scrape from the driver side rear wheel. At
first i thought it was the rear bumper scraping as it was hanging down a little. So i cut a bit of it off so there is plenty of room
and it is still the same.
So what could cause this scraping and how would i check it?
Thanks

Jack it up and check the rear wheel bearings for a start including a good visual inspections!

Probably tyre on the arch liner.

Drive it in a empty car park, then stop the car when it makes the noise, and look for a point of contact.
You might need a body to weigh the car down.

Weather is good today, so i have had the wheel off to have a look for marks off where something is scraping and cant see anything. Checked the bearing and seems all good.
Now im thinking it could be where the bumper is clipped off under driver side rear light. Either rubbing the plastic under the light or pulling down on the other clips thats attached.
