Title: Newbie South Of London

Been reading the forums for about 4 months now, only just able to sign up.

Used to drive an 03 A3, first car that managed 0-60 in under 10 minutes. After taking it past 200k, thought I'd treat myself to a something different. So a shiny mk5 with 120k but still sweet engine. No mods declared but suspect a few. Pics to follow once it's clean.

Even happier with the golf after discovering a Revo shop 15 mins down the road :D

Post by: Cappin on February 17, 2014, 10:44:11 pm: Heh, sorry guys slightly mis-leading. By south of London, meant just south of the city; past Croydon. Live in a smallish town that no-one ever knows about (including from the nearest large town). No traffic jams and lots of windy roads to exercise the mk5 more than make up for it though :D

And there will be pics in about 2 days once this round of work finishes. It's a beautiful laser blue GT TDI to whet your appetites though

p.s I too is from Croydon. Bring out that Mk5 GTi sometime. Me and the boys like to go for tear ups EVERY dry weekend without fail HA!

Finally got a picture uploaded. As per the rule of murphy, finished washing it and it started raining. At least it's tar free now :grin:
