Title: Just about to buy an RNS 510 this in NZ, need some advice please

Hi I live in New Zealand and I'm just about to buy this and I just wanted to know the spec as there is so much conflicting info online about what revision had what ie HDD size led screens blah blah :), it also says its a 2010 revision.

Any help would be great, will I need any other hardware ie canbus upgrades for my 05 gti ?

You will need an updated gateway to stop battery drain on an 05 gti.
Is there a star button on the right side?
