The price will be £30 per car for 10+ cars and £25 per car for 25+ cars. This will get you one run and a printout to take home and put on your mantle! Please bring cash as this will be the best way to pay.
Everyone is most welcome with a motor from the VAG range. Please post here or PM me if you would like to come or thinking about attending (spectators welcome too). The more the merrier (and cheaper)! Maximum of 50 cars for the dyno.

WhiteGTi & Dom coming?
Hi Guys,
I am provisionally going to say yes to this one, with 90% certainty. Be good to catch up with people both old and new. Need to check it does not clash with the Surrey rolling road day as that's just round the corner for me.
-
im going to have to drop from a yes to a maybe. due to the problems im having with the colour match on my car and it being in and out the bodyshop. :fighting:. suppose i could always drive down in the mk2 if all else fails.
-
Would be nice to get some more folks from here...haven't met anyone yet from this forum.
Be nice to get ED30 /MK5 GTI Revo guys to fly the flag against the Seat boys!
Still got my beast....hoping to keep...as time passes by who knows!

Will be down that way, so will pop in and see how it is going and if the weather is really nice (no clouds in the northern hemisphere), the Bike will be out!
-
I shall more than likely be a spectator for this one :happy2:
-
....
Which brand of rolling-road is it?
I might drop by socially if not rolling.
-
If I am down, I will be spectating guys. :happy2:

I've added you to the list on SCN, Martin, or at least put you on the thread for Ben to do when he's back off his hols.
Was admiring your front splitter at Combe the other weekend too! Oh, and your brakes.
-
lol was on std rims then . putting the bbs back on tomorrow . got a set of coilovers and roll bars to fit at some point .

I have updated the list and organised it into a provisional running order. Please could everyone glance over it and if you have any problems then please let me know. I have prioritised the people who need to run early and the others in order as they have signed up.
Those who have advertised this on other forums (Hyde, ABM, Andy) please could you update your lists and ask people to check they are happy with the order, in case they don't look on here.
I will send a final list of runners (in order) to TSR around 12th/13th November, so please can you let me know of any changes ideally before the end of next week. Any new interest after that I will add to the bottom of the list but you should still have plenty of time to run.
There will be a convoy from Exeter to TSR in the morning, leaving from Exeter services (M5 J30 - top of car park near fuel station) at 8.00AM sharp! Please arrive earlier if you want to join the convoy. Others feel free to organise convoys from other areas or make your own way there. First runners should be there by 9.00AM or you will get knocked down the list if you miss your slot.
It should be a really good day (hopefully dry), and a good chance to meet some new like-minded people. I think there is a Morrisons near there so you can get sustenance, or bring your own. Also, I know it's fairly obvious but please check your oil/water/tyre pressures and that you have at least a few litres of fuel when you arrive! ;)
Any Q's then please drop me a PM or post here.
TSR Performance in Bridgwater will be the venue for the South West rolling road day on Saturday 14th November 2009 at 09:00hrs! I'm sure many of you know the place well.

Quick last minute bump :pomppomp:

....
I was going to drop by socially but my daughter is home for the weekend (not seen her since start of September) so I won't be.
Have a good day!

I was working so couldn't make it. Cr-p weather any case.
-
Shame you guys couldn't make it, familys always come first and we've (nearly) all gotta work for a living. Was a very good event. Crap weather doesn't affect rolling road days so they are ideal for winter meets. Lower ambient temps and a nice roof over everyones head! You tend to mingle and chat more too as everyone is in a small area, not that TSR is that small.
Full write ups will be on SCN soon, no point in copying it all here as judging by the mk5 turnout there isn't really the same interest.

....True. Perhaps you'd be kind enough to post a link here to the relevant thread on SCN.
Cheers :happy2:

Was just waiting for the pictures to be uploaded otherwise it's just 8 pages of pre meet crap and banter.
It here: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=236251&page=8
Basically page 8 onward in that thread. :happy2:

Thanks Andy :happy2:
I notice they ran it with the bonnets open - Not so good as I understand things.
-
Is it considered bad now to run with the bonnets open? Probably handy for folk with open filters!

....As usual, I've forgotten the reasons why it's supposed to be better with bonnets closed. I read it somewhere on this forum.
Someone else might post why..
