Title: Best place to hire a Octavia Vrs for a week?

Planning a holiday for September time and wont have sold the Eddie by then so will need to hire an estate so thought will hire a Vrs so can assess whether want to buy/lease one next.

Anyone have any hire companys have used or is it just a case of trawling the rates with Enterprise/Hertz etc

Can't see there being much chance of hiring a specific vehicle like that.

I once considered buying a Vauxhall Insignia and went to hire one for the weekend at the local Enterprise office. I was told I could only rent that size of car and could end up with a Mondeo/Passat/Laguna etc instead of what I wanted...

I doubt you'll find one on a hire fleet. You could try ringing around a few local hire firms, that would work for something like an ordinary Insignia or Mondeo - a Central or online booking may only guarantee you a certain class of car, but the offices tend to buy their own stock (subject to which company it is) and can tell you what they've got.
