Title: Remap booked
Post by: seanieb on February 17, 2014, 04:00:27 pm
Booked a remap at r-tech for 5th march, could of used shark as they are just around the corner but price and excellent feedback means r-tech is the chosen tuner. Hoping to reach around 250hp and 290-300lb torque would be great

stage 1 remap done, car is totally transformed. Torque figures of 339 lbs means it spins up 3rd gear in the dry

yeah its fine at the moment lol, got 241bhp so not massively impessive but the car only pulled 180hp standard so thats still +60 increase. they said there could be many reasons the power was so down when standard, turbo fins cracked? I will post the graph up when i can. car feels much quicker than 240hp though its probably all that torque

^^^^ Shweet!

Bet your well chuffed. Top end bhp figures don't mean a lot but with that torque in the midrange it will be awesome.

 :happy2:

I've been down to R-Tech today to watch a mate having his 1.8t A4 mapped.

Niki was as impressive as ever and did a superb job, even though the fuel pump and MAF sensor was shot, still managed a 43bhp increase and a very smooth and drivable car :congrats:
