Title: Wing replacement on corrosion guarantee

Hi I have a mk5 06 gti in reflex silver. Noticed  some bubbling on the front wing the other day an rang vw York about replacement on the corrosion guarantee. They said seen as it's over 6yr old it would cost me £200 for two new wings. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with this?
