Title: I just updated my RNS 510 and it will take discs but wont light up and fault?

I have just updated my RNS 510 from the firmware from this site and it wont light up at all but it will take discs and also i now apparently have an airbag fault after updating.
I'm sh*tting it because-
1. i think i have bricked it
2. Why the hell do i have an airbag fault after updating my radio
3. My mum will kill me because it is her car

Did you remove it to install the firmware? The airbag light is probably because the battery voltage went too low (was there lights/accessories/fans on whilst updating?). Anyhow, it'll need a compatible fault code reader or someone with VCDS to get the airbag light off.

Try a reset of the stereo - press the first, second and fourth top row buttons for a few seconds to reboot it.
