Been watching this site for months now as I have always had a soft spot for Mk5's, this forum in particular seems a really great community.
Currently the owner of an E46 330ci facelift, however I am looking to sell it shortly and get myself a nice Tornado red mk5 gti :driver:
Here are a couple of pictures of my 330ci.

Welcome on board! :drinking:
Always had a soft spot for the 330's, cracking cars. :notworthy:
-
Welcome, you want regret getting a GTI. I had an e60 530d M Sport before changing to the gti, and I can honestly say it's the best decision I made, even though the BMW was more powerful and fully speced.
-
Thank you very much.
Yeah it really is a lovely car, a tad thirsty and repair bills can be a bit daunting at times :scared: but when all is well its great fun!
I'll try to get a couple of better pictures up this evening.
Forgot to mention I'm from East Sussex way, any other members I should be keeping an eye out for?
ME!! :jumpmove:
I'm in West Sussex, get yourself a dub and at some point (when the weather improves ) I'll sort out a meet for local peeps!
:happy2:

Good to hear! How was the 530d on diesel?
Thank you very much.

Sweet sounds good! Would be good to put some faces to names off here! :drinking:

530d on diesel was good for motorway driving, but around town it wasn't the best. As we were doing less miles, I wanted a petrol car and the gti was the obvious choice. The gti is a also cheaper to run (fuel, insurance, tyres etc)
Just find a good spec one and happy motoring :happy2:

Got myself a Tornado red, 5 door, dsg with fsh and 65k on the clock, full heated leathers, sunroof and a kenwood DNX521DAB! Was a little unsure of the DSG at first but it's really growing on me! Here are some pics after its first proper clean

Mods may be a little slow as I'm still on a pretty basic salary and have a lads holiday to save for in July but OEM looking projector headlights and coilovers are likely to be first up!
Look forward to your feedback - Also quite keen on purchasing some DSG paddle extensions from Mandy, just wondering how I'd go about sending her the £16?
-
Good purchase there, looks like a clean car with a good spec.
It will defo put a smile on your face :happy2:
Send Mandy a PM for her payment details.
-
Welcome mate, tidy Tornado Red GTI you've got there. :happy2:
-
DSG ftw. I have Seat Cupra I wish they made DSG in this model. They only made it in the FR which shares the same engine as the GTi. Whem you get the car mapped with the gearbox youll fall absolutely in love with it. My mate did it in his ed30 dsg and my gaaad that thing shifts

Cheers lads, seriously up for this South East meet with the weather we've had over the last couple of days lets get it organised! Had a good drive up to London today and a little play with an RS3 - bloody hell are those things fast!
-
