What kind of terrain ?

Hard pack trail centres ? If so continental verticals are great lightish trail tyres ! Single ply highroller a are pretty good aswell but don't roll like the verticals.

I've experimented with a few a I find the best for the places I ride are -

Trail bike - continental verticals all rear round

DH bike - maxxis highroller dual ply most of the time
Propper sh*tty weather I use swampthings

Mainly trail centres, forest tracks loose mountain paths etc, just looked at those contis and quite like the look of them, reasonably priced too.

Conti mountain kings are worth a look for the type of riding you mention
