The R20 was just a rumour. The Golf R will be the premium hot hatch model for the MKVI.

this has come along at a good time. New job working for bosch automotive so i can sell the mk5 and just have the company car and get this whenever it comes out and keep it for a nice weekend toy.

Really miss the 4wd in a car thats got a lot of kick. this is the package to die for in my eyes.

This would be my next choice of car after the Ed30. Just couldn't force myself to get the R32, and i so wanted a 4wd. Anyways i do love my Ed30. so please stop posting pics and details of the R20 :jumping:

I was the same, I wanted an R32 but couldnt stretch to the tax band or the MPG. Expensive motoring for what is only a slightly quicker can than the ED30.
