20k Service time is here and I'm wondering which oil you chaps recommend for the 2.0tfsi K04?

Longlife 3 (5w 40). but make sure they leave it on a time and distance service regime  :happy2:


sorry just realised the bottle i have at home is 5w30. oops!

Thats just the standard Quantum isn't it?

I wanted to take it to Awesome and I've just spoken to them and they say they will just use the standard Quantum oil. Should I be supplying the oil I want them to use?

quantum is made by castrol  for VW and im sure they know the best stuff for modified cars anyway so dont worry

Quantum may be made by Castrol, but it aint the same.  And if anyone is recommending Quantum in modified cars, I would be asking some serious questions, because there are considerably better oils!
