Title: Buying advice for VCDS.
Post by: Human Joist on February 22, 2014, 11:54:48 am
Morning. I am contemplating VCDS as I use my mates and seem to be there quite often. I have a spare laptop. I know I need the cable and then a registered copy ?  Can anyone shed any light on what's required and costs please.

You know the power bundle that costs £306 on the gendan site is all the different is between that and the one you posted just the different adaptors you get to allow you to use it on older cars? Same software just different obd port holes you get?

I got mine from here http://www.mi-uk.com/products/ross-tech-vcds/ (http://www.mi-uk.com/products/ross-tech-vcds/). Cheapest I found between the UK Ross-Tech dealers. Comes with full instructions and a nice little carry case.
