After treating the golf to a new set of parada's, sticking the RCD510 in and some new wiper blades the pile of crap has decided to develop an oil leak on my drive
Had a bit of a look around, looks like its coming around the block/ intercooler hose joiner. I'm doubting its a build up of oil that has pushed out of the IC joint due to the amount/ color of the oil (recently serviced). Any ideas, do they have an issue of leaks around this area?
I'll stick it in VW on monday but thought some people may have an idea and it will be an easy fix

They all do it. Nothing to worry about. VW will prob say that changing the seal will fix it, but it doesn't. I just clean them up and use a little grease around the seal. Helps a bit.
Its not leaking under boost, but leaks when the car isn't running. Oil seeps past the seal.

this is a decent sized oil patch, not just your usual few drops, still normal?
I'm new to VW's and they are frustrating to work on after cutting my hands off changing the can gateway and fitting an armrest MDI

turns out it was the oil filter housing, easy fix and VW replaced the coil packs for nadda
