Post by: spiker on February 23, 2014, 01:08:39 pm
Hi guys
I am thinking of having a Miltek cat back exhaust on my mk5 Gti DSG
The question is, non resinated or resinated I will value your opinions

In my opinion non res is the one and just a heads up as mentioned above… I’m running a group buy at the moment giving 20% off BCS exhausts which are a good alternative :happy2:

Resonated is little different to oem.

Non res sounds sporty

I was in the same dilemma late last year. Went for a non-res. In my opinion, it gives the car a bit of note - before, the car was just so quiet for a hot hatch.

It sounds good now - no boom, no droning, just a bit of a deeper noise when pressing on. When driving at low revs / low boost - it is nice & quiet - exactly the same as OEM.
