Title: Anyone else had a broken Eibach spring?
Post by: flipmyflipper on February 25, 2014, 02:27:07 pm
My front offside spring has snapped! They are Eibach Sportlines (part no - 20-85-014-02-22).
Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so did you contach eibach direct or source another one from somewhere else?
Many thanks

It's a common problem with all cars a weak point is generated where the spring no longer sits on the strut. Grime and crap build up and water etc etc. The. Snap. Had it happen on an S3 then octavia Vrs. But they covered about 60k first. How car have you gone on these.

Been on 3 and a half years with barely any mileage.
Got in touch with DPM performance where they originally came from who are now onto Eibach for a replacement. Fingers crossed

All sorted.
Not one but two brand new Eibach front springs delivered this morning.
Many thanks to Eibach and Damien at DPM performance for arranging this so swiftly for me  :happy2:
