Road salt! , just look at my total miles, she wont be going anywhere in bad weather!!!!
-
Go for it will great on them edition 30 alloys. :happy2:
-
Very bling! :happy2:
-
I would have said those CKs are Chromed, rather than aerocoated.
would love to see the outcome! ;)
-
Dare I say they look cheap and tacky///flame suit on...
-
i dunno about that, the RCs looked great, and i think those CKs do to be honest.
-
Maybe just me then, not a fan of bright and shiny alloys
-
The CK's are polished using ball bearings to get that finish, which strengthens them too like shot-peening :happy2:,
If I had a dark coloured car I'd be tempted
-
sorry, not my cup........
looks like chrome....

Thanks for you comments.
I am a little worried I must admit, expensive mistake if it looks wrong but cheaper than a new set of alloys!
Always thought the 25th Anniversary wheels look fine as they were not "the Chrome look" as like some of the pictures posted....joe
-
The 25th Anni wheels were a nice finish - but like already stated wasnt very robust.
-
Maybe just me then, not a fan of bright and shiny alloys
You are not alone. But each to their own I suppose, life would be a bit boring if we were all the same
-
I like it :happy2:
its pretty close to OE finish just a bit more bling.
Biggest issues are a) is it hard wearing as the 25ths were baaad and b) given its powder coat can you touch in any 'scrapes' ?
was thinking today a dark car does need shiney wheels (bit like the inverse of black wheels on CW )
-
When are you collecting the rims?

Touch ups & scrapes would mean the wheel back to Aerocoat to be redone, but given there is no colour match for the original Pescara wheel & they also would sort any kerb scrapes at the same time, £60 is not too bad as the colour match would be spot on every time & a whole lot cheaper than an OEM replacement @ £380 per wheel with discount!.
I will always have the option of going to the anthracite colour for £200 the set, I will get through Winter and decide. :happy2:

Where were the wheels done?
Like the finish also think it would suit Monza IIs to give them a durable "diamond cut" finish. :happy2:
-
Liking it! :happy2:
-
Think I dont like my wheel colour!
Yes I know im probably mad but emailed the guys who powder coated my wheels and they said they would re do them at a minimal cost even though I was 100% happy with their work.
Think I need to come over to the dark side!
Asked them if they could replicate any of the following:-

do it Tom, would look great against the SB :happy2:
-
Id keep the finish they are :happy2:
but if you want to change , you may want to consider selling them (at a premium) and getting another set of CH's done, if you can find a scruffy/kerbed set , as you could make some cash.
