Does anybody have this installed? How do you find it? Really want a unit with Bluetooth built in but the reviews aren't great on the rns 315 so this is my next option. Does the gateway need to be upgraded on a 54 plate GT TDI with the kenwood?

I had one of these before I got my dnx521 dab. It's a good unit but the iPod cable coming out the front put me off.
Sat nav and Bluetooth worked fine though.

Hey buddy, I've got this unit installed and it's great, the garmin sat nav is really good, parrot BT for the phone is brilliant that's all I use! However.......... Would be better if the iPod lead was in the rear instead of sticking out the front  :sad1:
As it's an aftermarket stereo it DOES NOT require the canbus gateway upgrading. I'm on 3 so I get unlimited data and a good signal so I play dab through my phone but my suggestion would be to see if you can afford the dnx521 unit as this has a rear USB,built in dab and shows climate etc! Either way get it installed professionally and get video in motion enabled (although your not supposed too  :rolleye:)

I paid £450 for the 520 unit a while ago but it's expensive from the dealer!

My mate has had both in his van and the 521DAB is way, way superior to the 520VBT.
Not even sure that ones integrates with highline clusters?

However it is still a decent stereo, the Zenec ones are worth looking at also

Like I said in my post, I use a dab app on my phone then the 520 is not much different than the 521 (except the lead is still out the front)
