heres how i bought my car bog standard 2.0 GT Tdi bkd 140bhp

i then fitted some Jom coilovers and fitted on genuine sirocco alloys wheels

i managed to find a genuine  r32 rear valance on ebay which i got sprayed up and fitted along with a decatt and a rear back box delete to suit also removed the wiper

i then fitted an EGR delete kit and a new south boost gauge

i then got offered a swap of alloys some Porsche cannye turbo alloys and adapters for my sirocco alloys  so i snapped his hands off
also fitted some r32/gti side skirts

also uprated the front brakes to 312mm

i then managed to pic up a gti front bumper which i got sprayed to suit aswell got the mirror caps sprayed black

i joined a rolling road day yestoday (first time on the dyno) i was expecting 185bhp maximum

i walked away with a big smile and flywheel figure of 193.9bhp and 311ftlbs  i was really shocked

My flywheels on the way out along with the CSC so I've ordered a stage 3 duel friction clutch and silent single mass flywheel
And a new LUK CSC

after the rolling road i found out i need :

RH engine mount
2x rear wheel bearings
also tax and insurance is due :(

Back box delete
Decatt
1x sports silencer
Egr delete
3"cold air feed to standard air box
And just a really good custom remap from one of my Portuguese friends  running 1.5bar boost

ive wanted some r32 lights for a while now but refuse to pal £180 because im tight lol

i then found a guide on how to take the lenses off and paint the insides so i gave it a go

cost me £10 in total but they really do test you when taking them apart as its really easy to crack the lenses :( very risky but im pleased with the out come

Lights look really good, Did you paint the inner of the light or the inner of the lenses, cant really tell from the pics?

 :sad1: having some issues with the car at the minute had my new clutch flywheel slave and master cylinders fitted which all work well but now having trouble selecting first and sometimes removing from first in slow moving traffic also only seems to do it when warm

So I'm now thinking the gearbox is on the way out :(

I've got some new droplinks and rear wheel bearings to fit and I've now also noticed I need 2 new front tyres as they've worn out on the inner edges for some reason :(

So not a good month at the moment

That's a lot of power without a bigger turbo or hybrid, I wouldn't like to think I was running round with that power in a standard turbo.

When I went to see my mapper Paul @ RS Tuning he asked if I wanted decent power but it won't last or reasonable power which is reliable. We'll I went hybrid turbo with reliable power and that was only at 207hp bkd engine same has yours. Maxitrol on the forum has that turbo now and I think that's only 210hp??

The turbo was new 5k miles ago so I'm hoping it has plenty of life left in it

It's the Portugese people who have tuned it for me he ensures me the turbo will be fine Aslong as I let it warm up and cool down do regular services ECt just general maintenance.

I only use the car for general commuting to and from work ,shopping ECt so to be honest the full potential very really gets used.

But yes I do wonder with that sort of power on stock turbo how long it's going to last
